Privacy Policy

1. About the app

Dayspool is a macOS application that records a timelapse of your workday so you can share your process. All recording, processing, and storage happens locally on your Mac. Dayspool does not connect to any server while recording, does not store footage in the cloud, and does not transmit your screen activity, audio, or camera feed to us or to any third party.

The optional face-cam background removal feature uses Apple Vision, Apple's on-device machine learning framework. Your webcam feed is processed entirely on your machine. It is never sent anywhere.

Dayspool has no in-app analytics, no crash reporters that phone home without your knowledge, no advertising SDKs, and no accounts. Nothing generated by the app leaves your machine unless you deliberately export a clip and share it yourself.

2. The waitlist

Dayspool is not yet released. We run a waitlist so we can notify interested people when the app is ready.

What we collect: your email address, submitted voluntarily through the form on dayspool.com. We also record technical metadata with each submission: your IP address and browser user agent. These are used only for abuse prevention and are not shared or sold.

How we use it: solely to send you one email when Dayspool launches (or to reach you if we need early testers). We will not use your address for anything else.

Where it is stored: Your email address is stored in Supabase (a hosted Postgres database). Supabase stores data in the United States. Confirmation and notification emails are sent via Resend, a transactional email service. Neither provider sells subscriber data.

How to leave: Email us at hello@wsbroundtable.com and we will remove you immediately.

3. Cookies and tracking on this website

This website (dayspool.com) does not use cookies, analytics scripts, session tracking, or any third-party tracking technology. There is no Google Analytics, no pixel, no fingerprinting. None.

4. Data you record with the app

Your screen recordings and any generated clips are yours. They live on your Mac's local storage. We have no access to them, no ability to view them, and no mechanism to retrieve them. Dayspool does not back up your recordings anywhere automatically.

If you export a clip and upload it to a social platform, that upload is governed entirely by that platform's terms and privacy policy, not ours.

5. Children's privacy

Dayspool is not directed at anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted their email to our waitlist, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

6. Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We will not make changes that retroactively expand how we use your email without giving you a chance to opt out.
